Technics SL1200 transistor replacement
« on: November 13, 2023, 01:16:03 am »
Hi!

I'm servicing a Technics SL1200mk2 turntable and managed to create a short that burned two transistors from the voltage regulator circuit.
I found two options with a matching pinout (collector in the middle) from my stash and would like to hear opinions on using them as replacements.

Original transistors are 2SD637
The available replacements are 2SC945 and 2SC1815

I've added the schematic (see Q2 & Q3) and datasheets for the transistors.

Thanks in advance,
Mikko

I'll hazard a guess any general purpose TO-92 NPN would do there, either suggested will probably work, I'd probably try the 1815.
