Trying to hack the DSOX1204A
« on: October 27, 2024, 02:37:31 am »
Hello everyone, have a nice day.

I have a DSOX1204A, after tearing it down to find the UART port, I found that the motherboard has some changes compared to the old version. The debug port has been removed from the new board. I have been struggling since yesterday and still can't find the location of the RX and TX ports, can anyone tell me?
I am planning to change the resistor value to change its license like 1000x, is that possible? By the way, does anyone have pictures of the 1204G model? I want to turn the A version into a G version by adding components.
It seems that Keysight's move from Windows to Linux makes it harder to hack, has anyone succeeded in doing that? Thank you very much

Sincerely, Jing Feng
