Trying to ID a connector pair...

Fellow techies,

I'm trying to ID the manufacturer and part number for a connector pair used on a telecomm service tester I have. Neither Mouser nor DigiKey have been able to give me anything more than a 'deer in headlights' response.

Here's what I know about it so far. Surface-mount, metal shell, 120 total positions arranged in (depending on how you count them) two rows of 60 or four rows of 30. The pitch appears to be 0.5mm.

Photos attached. I guess my biggest question is whether I'm looking at a custom part or an off-the-shelf.

Did you check out Molex Mezzanine series?

Actually, I just heard back from the manufacturer of the instrument on Friday. Turns out this particular part was indeed a custom build, likely from Molex.

This tells me I'll need to hoard a few dead units as parts mules.
