Hi, could anyone explain how to update the firmware on the TS1574? I think it is similar in model to the ZD915. From my research the display board PCBs appear to be identical. (ZD-LTY-6 100120)
The issue I am having is that the solder iron side setpoint does not display during normal operation. I believe it to be a firmware issue due to all 7-segment display sections lighting up correctly at start up, the iron heats up to ~175 and its actual temperature is displayed but setpoint cannot be seen or changed via the buttons. I have probed the buttons and all appear to actuate correctly.
My hope is that the setpoint register has just been corrupted, however maybe someone here more familiar with displays can guess the root cause better.
I found this thread which talks about reflashing the firmware of this board and in fact links editable firmware files which I thought I might be able to use to fix it.

Assuming I am not venturing down the wrong rabbit hole, can anyone recommend an interface software or maybe a practical guide for programming using C2 once I figure out the correct pins to connect to?
