TSOP48 in circuit test
« on: October 10, 2014, 12:35:54 am »
So what are my options to connect up to a TSOP48 package on board?  I want to be able to test and possibly write flash in circuit.

Something like this.

http://www.deltadesign.us/

Is there anything in the hundred(ish) $ range or is the sky the limit.  This would be low volume use.

Thanks in advance.

I seems as though it might be worth designing your own.  :-X

Maybe if we had a better idea what it was for.

I have a few boards I suspect the firmware is corrupt on.  They have a MC68334 processor with a bit of flash hanging on it.  I was looking to try and reload the flash with a known working image and see what happens.  There is a header that is attached to the MC6800 debugging pins which look like they could be used with some software and cables that are ~$600-$1k.  I would rather not remove the flash of course, but $1k just to test out on a handful of units...

Just looking for options and rough cost.

Yep that looks like it will do the trick.  For the money if it doesn't work I won't be too concerned.

Thanks!

Hi, sorry for resurrecting old post, but I am also looking for cheapest in circuit TSOP48 reader/writer, to read flash memory for fun for my own pleasure. Does any one know device and connector which could do that?
