Title: tv makes a hissing sound and runs hot (level 6542)

i have a tv level 6542, and the inverter for the back light and the main power supply are making a hissing sound
the inverter for the back light is running hot

a lot of the caps are bad but i dont know if the problem is in the back light it self

If you know the caps are bad why would you even bother to troubleshoot further before replacing them? It's highly likely that is your only problem.

Replace the electrolyts.ALL of them
