TV power supply repair
« on: April 21, 2022, 09:28:28 pm »
Hi my old tv is fried, I was trying to fix it but when I desolder a component to measure a voltage something released the magic smoke. The MOSFET, a resistor and maybe this component are fried up. Unfortunately, I am not able to find it, does anybody knows what is it? I can't find any info for the specific component. It is the R12K H8

I have wasted so many hours looking these insane markings...
years and years ranting these shitty codes...

Anything i can remotely associate with H8 is a ZENER

Choose the next best fast recovery diode with similar specs. They are pretty much standard, nothing special.

R12K: fast recovery rectifier, 600V, 1.2A (https://www.alldatasheetde.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/851341/GOOD-ARK/R12K.html)

The datasheet says 800V for the "K" version.
