Title: TV Stuck On Startup Loop
Post by: hillbillyhickey on April 04, 2019, 07:47:56 am
G’day everyone, i’ve got a Bauhn Tv (it’s an Aldi brand), that is stuck on the startup loop, 1 capacitor was blown so I replaced it and tested all the others, they’re all fine. I cannot for the life of me find anything helpful online, everything/everybody says to check the capacitors and nothing else, so here I am.
Thank you in advance to any good folk that help me.

Have you checked the voltages from the voltage regulators? - Check if you have a steady 5V and/or 3.3V 12V or what other dc voltage supplys it got.

Sometimes firmware will get corrupt by the PSU failure, from my own experience it is more often a 24Cxx memory containing user and configuration data that gets corrupt, sometimes just blanking (FF ing) this memory is enough to escape the boot loop. Then having access to service mode can be a big help.
