Thank you very much for sending the files. I have successfully extracted them and the instrument now recognizes the hard drive and the software is running.

However, the unit is showing the error “Error: Self gain cal (0.00 dB)”. I tried enabling the CAL signal in the Input menu — the 25 MHz signal appears correctly, but the 100 MHz signal does not show up.

I also tested external signals: frequencies below 40 MHz are OK, but from 40 MHz to 50 MHz the instrument reports A/D OVERFLOW and the signal behavior is very abnormal. Above 50 MHz up to 8 GHz, the unit does not detect any signal at all.

It seems that I still need to resolve some hardware issues before the analyzer can operate normally again.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help with the software side.

Hello, I recently acquired a RSA3408A with a corrupt hard drive and was hoping to find a drive image. There was a link posted earlier, but it currently does not work. If someone can help repost that link. it would be very appreciated!

Where exactly does the RSA3408A get its UniqueID?

We're you able to figure out your “Error: Self gain cal (0.00 dB)”? I have run into a similar issue with my unit as well. Please share with me if you have had any luck with this.
