Undersized PCB trace as fuse... Should I repair it?

My Bosch washing machine's motor control board has failed. After removing the board I found that there seems to be purposefully undersized traces being used as a brute force "fuse". In the attached picture I show the failed traces. There are two of them on either side of a NTC. Do you think that I would be risking fire if I repaired the trace with either conductive paint or a piece of wire wrap wire?

Thoughts?

soldering in a single strand from a wire is probably not worse that what was there but, a burned fuse is seldom the cause of the problem

If those fusible traces blew, they probably blew for a reason. Check for shorted transistors (likely IGBT type).

Bridging the trace with a suitably sized surface mount fuse would be a safer and more predictable option.
