UPS KONIG CMP-UPS2000
« on: September 07, 2024, 05:50:24 pm »
Hello!
I have a KONIG CMP-UPS2000.
This unit was last used 10 years ago. Was working but had bad batteries. Those where remove before storage.
Standard config is 4 x 7,2AH batteries in a 2S2P config. For testing I only have it with a 2S config.
Only problem I have found so far was the header on the display board, for a cable coming from the transformer going into the display board. It was loose. So that is soldered in place, and "reinforced" with hot glue.
And the cap hanging down from the display board is gonna be replaced when/if I get the unit working. Looks like it's starting bulge.
Measured input voltage (on the board) is about 230V AC. Output voltage (on the board) is about 25V AC when there is no load. Drops if I try to power anything from the socket.
Same measurements on mains or battery power.
Display indicates 220V output.
I can't seem to find any electical documentation either... |O

Thanks
- Yngve

Looks like the voltage goes up after some time. Turned it on and let it sit about 10 minutes, and I get a reading of 56V AC.
