Hi All, I have a Behringer404 audio interface. it’s USB-B powered, when I connect it to my pc via USB, the unit powers on, but the PC/ Behringer driver don’t recognize that the unit is connected. I’ve tried different cables and different computers even a Mac. same result.

It seems that the Power on the USB port works, but How to test with a voltmeter if the data on this port is faulty?

Thank you.

No it doesn't show up in device manager. I installed USBView, it doesn't show up there either.

Is this what the front looks like?

(see attachment)

If you run audio through it do any of the LEDs (like "signal" or "clip') light up?

Unfortunately, if it doesn't show up in Device Manager there's probably not much you can do about it.

I had a look around and found this information which may be of use to you:

"Reports below can be confirmed. I updated my drivers for the UMC, and it underwent a catastrophic failure. The USB device can no longer be properly recognised."

https://www.behringer.com/product/review.html?modelCode=0805-AAT

So it looks like it may be a driver (software) issue and not the cable or hardware.
