« on: April 03, 2020, 11:23:42 am »
962362-0Hi to all,
I have a very old drager Pulmolog ventilator that i have for some time in the garage, these days of stay at home. I have some parts that i cannot identify if broken or not. Can someone help me with this? the unit worked just fine a year ago.

Wow, Spaghetti! I wonder how clean all of those tubes are?

(Edit: Although I suspect that they are all pneumatic control lines rather than patient gas though. Even so, that's an incredible unlabeled tangle!)

Unfortunately my pneumatics skills are limited to an old temperamental pick and place machine, years ago, but I suspect that your diagnosis is correct - most likely a rubber diaphragm became 'stuck' to its seating after a year of disuse.

I'm sorry, but without documentation I don't see how you're going to be able to narrow it down which valve. The only thing I can suggest is repeated 'power' cycling and gentle exercise in the hope that it will settle down again to normal operation.
Best Regards, Chris

It is recommended that you conduct a POST test(I looked at the picture and found that your ventilator is very old, I think it should be enough to test the performance of the mechanical seal)You need air source (air + oxygen) and piping + simulated lung (can be replaced with balloons)
