Viavi CellAdvisor JD785A failing self-test
« on: November 10, 2020, 10:32:53 am »
I am a radio amateur and recently purchased a used JD785A CellAdvisor Base Station Analyzer.

The unit appears to have developed a fault in spectrum analyzer mode. Noise levels are within specification but signal detection levels are 30-40db below where they should be. I have attached a screen shot of the self-test showing a problem with the RF Board.

I have not been performing any high power measurements which may have damaged the RF board so I'm not sure why this has happened.

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions on what to try next?

Thanks in advance.
