Vintage Conar 255 Oscilloscope repair
« on: August 24, 2024, 11:10:10 pm »
Hello,

I picked up this old scope for cheap at a hamfest recently, it seems to be mostly functional with a few issues. The trace seems to be slightly rotated (which I can probably adjust easily with the trace rotation), but the trace is also slightly jagged rather than a straight line. I also get huge spikes (as shown in the second image) when adjusting the volts/cm knob. I assume this could be due to the switch, so I will try to clean off the contacts and inspect the solder joints.

Thanks
