VTVM lead wire gauge?

Greetings all,

I'm looking to fix up my TS-505D/U vtvm, part of which entails replacing the lead wires and power cable.  The latter part is easy enough to source, but I'm not sure as to the gauge of wire for the leads.  Unfortunately, the TM for the set doesn't specify what wire the leads are made from.  FWIW, that meter is rated up to 1000vdc, so I would like to replace the lead wire with something that can handle the same, preferably in red, black, green and blue with a very flexible insulation.

If anyone knows where to source a replacement or something equivalent, I would be most appreciative.
