Wandel Goltermann NFA-1, Stops Booting, no Display, All LEDs on

Hi members,

tried to use my NFA after a long time but no success. It stops booting and no display no beep nothing. After pulling boards it turns out that the display CPU makes some trouble.
Next problem is that I have no schematics from that board. There are 3 EPROMs on that board and that was the first thing to look at. One EPROM is dead.
Does anybody can help me with a copy of the firmware?? That would be great. Many thanks in advance

I just come out, from a repair of  Wandel Goltermann SPM19. Same issue as you. It was faulty EPROM. I was a bit luky that my unit would boot with some heat on the EPROM. Can you try to warm a bit? If it works with abit of heat you can copy the EPROM then.

The problem was very strange, I posted the details somewhere in EEVBLOG.
These EPROM are becoming old and they are dying.

Keep searching in the usual places for the FW.
