Title: Want to help me fix my trailcamera?
Post by: IdahoMan on May 11, 2020, 08:29:43 pm

No trail-camera I have ever purchased has lasted more than a year (why I don't buy them anymore.. Bushnell, Spypoint).

I have a Spypoint Force-10 and it won't start up, just a blank (white) LCD screen for a few seconds then black and won't come on at all after that. On another forum where someone else was having this issue, Spypoint customer service said it was a "hardware issue".

I honestly don't think anything can be done other than to toss it in the trash, but if anyone here has an idea that might help I'm ready to open it up. I have no oscilloscope, just a multi-meter.

Thanks.

Could you provide more information? A URL of the best into on the camera you can find and maybe a photo of it as you have it now. Since youre ready to throw it away why not open it up and take as good of a high res picture as you can of the PCB that shows as much of the wiring as possible. Perhaps if something is obviously broken it will be visible.

You can add it to the bottom of your post.
