Wanted (in UK) Laser Shutter Arm (RB1-8700-000CN) for Laserjet 4000/4050

This little lever opens the laser shutter so that laser can write onto the toner drum.



Does anyone (ideally in the UK) have an LJ4000/4050 spares unit that they can salvage this from please?

On your other post looking to identify a broken white piece, I posted a link to a parts supplier. Look there to see if you can still buy the part. Try lots of parts houses. Some will have stock, when others don't. Ebay, too. If not, and you still have all of the pieces of the lever... and you have a friend with a 3D printer... Or a "Makers" group nearby... Maybe you can get it printed. HTH.

I telephoned Printer Maintenance Limited  https://www.printermaintenanceuk.com and they called me back about ten minutes later to say they had the part!

I received it this morning (next day delivery) and the printer now works again!
