Anyone familiar which versions of Hotpoint software works with which variants of washing machine or know where I could find out?
I'd a power outage when the machine was running unattended.
I took the module out and replaced a 220R resistor at the corner which I think is just before a DC area of the board.
It illuminates one row of buttons. but nothing will work from the controls.
I tested out the sensors and actuators with a dryer board The binary sequence on the LEDs indicate all if fine (dryer fault which I would expect with the machine having no dryer)
Now a complete module is expensive about £100 and they are sold without software. Add in a one time usable smard card at 40 and 100 fore a smart card readwer programmer then brand new parts are uneconomical.
I've a WMF740 P UK R
On the module is written"Code 21501008302 SW :16.00.13 Bitron code : 30411986"
But the dryer module reads the same.
I've found boards on ebay but not sure what power modules are interchangeable.
