Hi all, I’m dealing with an issue where a screen I have shows vertical lines that distort the image to the point where it’s unreadable. I’ve attached some pictures to illustrate the problem. (I don't know how to call this screen) I think I know what the problem might be, most likely this flat cable but I am not sure how to restore the connection. First picture shows what the issue is and the display itself. Second and third photo show the insides when I dissembled it, where I suspect the problem to be. The flat cable which attaches to the PCB, and then the orange part of that cable that attaches to the screen, screen seems to be see trough. |

Optrex has been aquired by Kyocera in 2012. For the 323 line, I found some electrical specs here, not sure if this is helpful though: https://serdisplib.sourceforge.net/ser/optrex323.html |

It is from car? Please check if there's a replacement display on ali. You can try soldering but it may not help (especially when connections beetween flex and glass or flex and chip are broken). |

Hi, yes its from a car, Peugeot 307 Sadly I am unable to find one that can be delivered to me. Junkyard don't have single one for now. So my only option is to try and repair it, there has to be a way, no ? |

Here it is, these two cables unglued from one another, I just have to find a way to remove old glue and glue them together, how is this done ? If only I could know the name of these cables or the process itself, I could find some videos that demonstrate it |
