What is this thing? Need Help.
« on: May 01, 2021, 12:51:14 pm »
Does anyone know what this is? I know it's made by Advanced Analogics Circuits but I cannot find anything about it. Perhaps I'm missing a crucial letter due to the explosion and the crater left behind.

Can someone help?

Sorry, maybe I made a mistake! I found another chip with the same marking pattern. Now I am not sure which one is right, and I am not sure if there are more similar chips!   :palm:

Maybe you can use the working voltage of other chips on the PCB to determine whether it is 5 or 3.3V.

Most of the time, I identify them by searching the package and marking of the chip on Taobao.

That's great. Thanks again. I will attempt to ID which one by measuring the voltages around the circuit.

I use a cross reference from Turuta. I've been using it for ten years now and it solves most mysteries. It's not free, I think I pay $20 and I don't buy it every year, just every few years.
