Try to access the Bios on working machine by the delete key, F1, F2, ctrl-alt-s, ctrl-alt-up arrow (or down), etc. |

Remove and dump EPROMs, compare Good and bad systems? That said, my hobby involves UVEPROMs that are now 40-50 years old and I’m impressed by how very well they seem to retain data But not too hard to dump and compare, and at least you get backups |
