  Is that a part of a HP 8640 Signal Generator?  It sounds like it is based on the PN. If so, then the 8640 Service Manual should have some information about it.

No, it is a low noise amplifier, 40 dB gain, for use in 50 Ohm applications from 20 Hz to 10 MHz, used f.e. for noise measurement.

Does anyone know what the markings are on the Q1 and Q2 elements inside the HP 08640-60506 low noise amplifier?
