| Where to find a non-standard LiPo pouch battery? |
| (1/2) > >> |
| e100:
This is a protected 3.7v LiPo cell from my bicycle LED light. The current dimensions are 55 x 27 x 11mm and the original capacity was 2000mAh. The black adhesive foam piece is there for padding. It doesn't look particularly bloated so I imagine that a new replacement cell would be very similar in size, however my google searches aren't finding anything so presumably it was a custom size made for that particular model of light. |

See the “112556” printed on it? That’s almost certainly the nominal dimensions: 11 x 25 x 56. Searching for those dimensions, or for the size code, may be more fruitful. |

I tried a search and did not find anything obvious. Lots of other batteries of other sizes though. |

I found some mentions of them, so they do exist, but I didn’t search for vendors. What certainly seems to be a lot more common is 112560, i.e. 5mm longer. OP, would that potentially work? If you’ve got those 5mm to spare, then the slightly longer version would be a simple replacement. If not, you could sacrifice a bit of battery life and install a slightly smaller battery, like the common 102050. |

I don't believe there actually are standard sizes for pouch cells? |
