Where to find KA1H0265R or Replacement
« on: February 18, 2021, 06:01:51 pm »
Hello everyone.
I'm repairing a power supply which has a Fairchild Power Switch with reference KA1H0265R
Now, i can't find a new one to buy except ebay or similar. Does someone knows of a good replacement part?
The ones i can find are all 5 or more pins, which have newer functions.

Thanks in advance!

What's wrong with ebay?  I buy a lot through them.

This is the datasheet for the KA5H0265R:

http://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheets/70/389776_DS.pdf

It looks similar and is available from Digikey:

https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/fairchild-semiconductor/KA5H0265RCTU/12110005?s=N4IgTCBcDaINIEECsAJADGAbEgSiAugL5A

Thank you so much. Don't know how i missed it.
But it surely looks similar. I'll try it.

Nothing wrong. I buy there too. But most of the available parts are from Asia or US. Which for me usually means huge transit times and a higher chance of getting lost.
In fact i even found some from the UK on ebay. But since the brexit mess, things are not going well. Longer transit times, customs people are still adjusting to processing things from the UK... so it's almost like ordering something from china..  :o   we'll have to wait for things to fall into place.

That's why i prefer to use a reputable online shop when i can. Peace of mind! :)

Thanks!  :-+
