Whitening a 1993 Bose Wave Radio?
« on: October 16, 2019, 12:57:15 am »
Subject to sunlight in our living room over the past many years, the once white external case plastics on our 1993 Bose Wave Radio, has yellowed similar to the hue of the setting sun.
Searching  the web has not given me any great positive answers on how to get it back to the original color.......some repair sites advocate the use of fine sandpaper which I am averse to doing in fear of losing the original finish......would appreciate any practical tips on this?

Get a small bottle of hydrogen peroxide gel from beauty supply store. Smear on the plastic and cover with saran wrap. Place in sun for a few hours. I've done this before and it works wonders.
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.
