We have a Lecroy HDO6104 at work which was working fine, until a couple of days ago I got a "CMOS battery bad" message upon boot. It finished booting and then after powering off it wouldn't power back up.
I've already replaced the battery and shorted the contacts for a few seconds, but nothing is happening.
When I press the power button, LEDs light up and all 3 fans spin for a split second, then everything goes off. If I press, release and hold the power button, it stays on for a few seconds, but eventually turns off without showing anything on the screen.
It seems there's no power to the USB, but there is power on the 12V rail of the motherboard, at least as long as it stays on. I guess some power rail is toast, but why?
The motherboard looks a bit different from an older post about an
HDO6034A.
Does anybody know if there's a way to get a service manual or useful documentation to not debug this in the dark?
