Hello,
I am trying to repair a wireless mouse and need help identifying a part.

The part in question a the SOT23-5 marked H1KH, see picture below.  It is probably controlling the LiPo battery charging. Pin 4 is connected to 5V from the USB and pins 2 and/or 3 go to the battery positive pole. The positive and negative battery inputs are currently shortened, which may be caused by the unidentified SOT23-5.

The SOT23 marked 6525 is a 3.3V voltage regulator and the diodes provide "selection" between battery or USB 5V power to the regulator.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Jonas

I think it’s the ME4054 (probably specifically ME4054AM5G or ME4054M5G) from Microne. In every image of it I can find that shows a chip with the Microne logo, it’s marked H1xx, so I suspect H1 is the part and the last two are a date or lot code.

There are countless 4054 chips from both big manufacturers (like ST) and cheaper options like Microne. Any should be fine, just choose one with the 25uA shutdown current like this one — some manufacturers also make versions with higher shutdown currents.

Just a follow-up...

The problem turned out to be a shorted capacitor.

However, I had already changed the charging IC to a LTC4054 and I can confirm that the mouse works with this IC.

Best regards, Jonas
