Xeltek DOA-141 Universal Multi Tool
« on: November 11, 2020, 10:04:28 pm »
Hi there,

I am looking for the schematics of a Xeltek DOA-141. It is a power supply 50V regulated and 5V and 15V normal, voltmeter, frequency meter, signal generator.
The regulated 50 V power supply cuts off when a load is connected to it. I can't seem to find the part that causes the problem.
Does any have the schematics or pointers how to locate the faulty part?

Maybe it was DOA... ;D
A photo maybe? Google doesn't have much on the beast.
Anything similar to the Voltcraft / Metex MS-9150?
I think the schematic for that is around.

Indeed different from the Metex.

Should be similar to:

Xaruba DOA-141
Maxcom MX-9000 (MX-9003 also exists)

I assume the OEM is: Dae Shin Electronics Co., Ltd.; Inc

Hi @coromonadalix, yes, there is a looooot to check. I think I have checked all the voltage values and they are correct. I have very basic knowledge and there are parts of the scheme that I lose. At first, the variable PS dropped if you limited the current, when approaching 0. I replaced everything I could thinking that it is a device that is 30 years old (for example some capacitors), I also changed the lm324, and have changed or played with the power components. The result is that now it does not break when limiting the current, BUT now the PS provides 15v-60v, instead of 0v-50v. I'm honestly lost
