Hi, guys. Just bought myself second-hand Xiaomi vacuum mop essential, that had dead battery issue. Thought, oh, easy fix as i have lots of 18650 cells lying around.
So one cell was bad, so just replaced it (just to see if it works) with good one, and yes, robot now powers on. Set it to clean, and it worked - on dark and gray tile floors.
But after sitting for a while, now it just gives me cliff sensor error. And the weird thing is that now it only works on darker floors, not gray ones.
Disassembled and fully cleaned sensors for inside and outside. All 4 emitters are working (camera test). But no luck.
On gray floor it shows that sensors are blocked/needs cleaning. But on darker ones, it works...
Pretty sure tile floor absorbs more IR light and thats why it has weak signal on receive side of that sensor, any ideas how to fix that? I know that there is that hack when you turn both diodes "face to face" but dont want to lose cliff sensor function completely.
Feels like i need to offset voltage a bit on those IR receivers (so i thinks it getting bit more voltage, and than mby it wont freak out), could this be way to go?
