Title: Yaesu FT 101 pre-repair checkout
Post by: Shock on July 09, 2016, 03:35:22 am
Good video showing pre-repair checkout of a modular radio.
Covers checking out supply rails before powering up, relay cleaning and a few common issues of aging equipment.

I am not sure if I missed a bit, but I take it the origional audio board with the bad caps was replaced with an older version.  Looks as if the rig was used as a donor, never a good sign.
