Yaesu FT-60 LCD

Hi
I got one of these handheld POS radios from eBay. I’ll probably just send it back rather than tinker with it,
but it has bad LCD contrast the has no adjustable setting in the menu.

Viewing it straight on, it’s right at the edge of being invisible, and it sharp when viewed from the top.

I thought there might be a PCB pot or something, but looks like it’s just a bare LCD.

My question is how do they set LCD contrast in the first place?
