Yamaha MX1000 POWER AMPLIFIER
« on: November 30, 2016, 08:55:06 am »
Hi all, just wondering if anyone has repaired one of these. This has been to someone else to try and fix, but they have not use the original output device types for replacement.  I note in the schematic that some of the output devices are a DC to DC convertor transistor, but they have only fitted normal audio out type devices. The repaired channel has destroyed several components and I have been left with the problem to solve. If anyone has looked at one of these and replaced the outputs, any advice would be good.

This model, descended from the M-80/M-85 models, is a difficult repair even for long-time Yamaha servicers. I may be able to help with advice; maybe better to email me directly.
