YAMAHA RX-V675 - PS2 PROBLEM
« on: March 19, 2019, 08:46:10 pm »

Hello,
The Yamaha rx-v675 comes off after 5 minutes with a loud noise in the speakers! After it goes off, it may turn on normal. The error is PS 158

The error does not occur immediately. After 5 minutes the PS2 voltage is not stable. It's obviously overwhelming, and I do not know what ...
Sorry for my bad English
Please help  :)

PS stands for PowerSupply - other codes indicate last readings
and sometimes a good hint where the fault may be,

but YAMAHA gear is anything but simple to deal
far too much details and too much stuff crammed together.

Download the manual and start a tracking down procedure from
the PSU mains which needs to be carefully examined

The problem was in IC 7912. Receiver is repaired.
