Title: Yidun Lighting JHL-L201 movement sensor switch

My bathroom cabinet has one of these motion sensor switches:

It appears to have become intermittent.    It is unfortunately completely potted with what I think is epoxy.

I've tried contacting the manufacturer in China to see if with will supply one of these but I'm not hopeful.

Has anyone ever repaired on successfully?

The sticker on the thing in the link you provide says it is IR. Likely there is a sender and a receiver IR LED in that detector.

Search for "LED hand sensor module" on aliexpress. Plenty of those modules so it seams:

I think you can just desolder the LED's on the module and replace with that round metal detector on yours.
