Yihua 3010d-iii bench power supply "SCP" error

I bought a yihua 3010d- iii psu. The problem is I am not able to inject voltage and heat components; as soon as short is detected, SCP error comes up (short circuit protection). I tried in many voltage and current settings but shorting gives SCP. CC works properly when a load is connected but that is not why I purchased this. The seller isn't agreeing to replace or refund. The video below clearly shows it should not give SCP when shorted; pardon me it's in Indian language. Is there anyway to disable SCP on this board? Or maybe a work around? My requirement is to check shorts on motherboards so I will need to inject as low as 1V.
