Yokogawa TY720 multimeter, screen low contast

Hello,
I recently purchased a Yokogawa TY720 RMS multimeter. This is a high end multimeter from a well known company. Unfortunately, the LCD screen has a low contrast and its reading from an angle different than front of it is blurry. I sent it back to local distributor, but he reported back that there is no any electronic issue, all units of this range have this difficulty and factory cannot do anything more about. I opened the unit but there is no any pot (like old days...) to adjust its contrast. Also they have not Service Manual to send me (!)
Has anyone of you this manual to see if contrast can be adjusted from secret-service menu (if any)?
