Help opening Yokogawa 2426A
« on: February 27, 2017, 10:02:23 pm »
Howdy All,

Anyone know how to get a Yokogawa 2426A open? There's a single screw in the battery compartment, but the unit doesn't want to open from what I can tell.

Also, does anyone have a manual for one of these? Closest I can find is the MY40.

Thanks!

Sometimes screws are hidden under rubber plugs that also function to prevent sliding around on a smooth bench top.

No feet, so that's not the issue.

I was really hoping it wouldn't have clips. =(

On a side note, I'm looking for replacement battery terminals, but they seem to be an odd size. Most of the "spring on one side, bump on the other" are 25mm long. These are 30mm.

Looking around Aliexpress, it almost seems like there's a standard that I'm missing. There's reference to S29 (Spring 29mm?)

Anyone know?
