Desoldering station ZD_915 vacuum pump
« on: April 01, 2021, 10:27:24 am »
Hi Guys,
I've had a ZD_915 desoldering station for many years.
The vacuum pump is running but no vacuum.
On inspection, one of the bellows has split.
I've searched but can't find replacement bellows.
Any pointers please...

I recently had a few repairs to do on my ZD-917 after it lost suction altogether. Long story short one of the internal hoses had split and also the little spacers between each of the diaphragm rods had flattened out causing the rods to bind. I machined up a couple of new spacers out of brass and now the machine really sucks.

Anyway, another member named EJP had the same problem as you and they managed to get a few spare diaphragms from Zhongdi, perhaps you could send the member a message and ask if they have any spare diaphragms left, the thread is linked below.
