Hi Guys,
I have been using a pair of HK 206 speakers for years. No problem no thing. It sounds and works great.
I always turn it off by turning the volume dial when I am done listening to the speaker.
The other day, the static built-up in my butt was too high. I got a big spark when I touched the volume dial the other day.
The speaker still work but every time I turn it on/off, it makes a big pop noise now.
I probably ran thousands of volt through the plastic knob to the pot and somewhere to the transistor and to the ground when I touched the knob the other day.
May I ask what may be broken inside? It is old so I don't want to crack it open. I will probably break the old plastic housing.
It may not have anything look burnt inside anyway since it is still working without any problem.
Thanks!
