Zener diode in PS1 PSU (Solved)
« on: October 12, 2019, 10:43:53 am »
Hey guys, Fixing a friends PS1 as it had a ringing power supply and was smoking a little. I have found that one of the zeners on the output was shorted i have removed it and powered it up and the psu now works but i need to replace the zener. Does anyone know what the voltage of the zener is? Its listed a d103 / MAZ9120D0LS0-TX/L on the schematic and on page 21 of this manual. Every time i google the "part" number i just get linked back to psu manuals.

Ahhhh thank you so much. Yeah i couldnt find nothing on datasheets, no matter how pages i went through.

Makes sense that it would be a 12v zener. Should have some laying around.
