Hello, this is my first message on the eevblog forum but I've been a long time viewer of the youtube channel and now that i'm on a bit of a trouble this is the first place that came to my mind

(Also sorry for any mistakes I'll try to make as few as possible)
The problem began when we started testing a defibrillator that was in our university and was supposedly not working. Repairing and restoring this defibrillator is the main project in one of the classes I'm taking right now, and at first, the defib worked great without any noticeable problems.
We got the service manual and we started the test routines the manual stated... Then something blew up inside, the defib jumped half an inch and stopped working.
No exterrnal damage could be seen altough a strong burnt smell appeared on the area, upon taking it apart we found that two fuses had blown up and a transistor (BSS295) had exploded also.
And the problem is that I can't seem to find a place where to buy this transistor or how to make a replacement board to make the defib work again, also I don't have lot of experience working with n channel transistors.
Help? Please
