3D lens microscope camera? Anyone tried this technology?

Came across this thing today, I’ve never seen anything like it personally. Allows you to “spin” your point of view around a component to get a 360 view of the joints. Seems really cool, wondering if anyone here has ever had any real-life experience with this kind of technology, how practical it is, etc.

Looks great for inspection, completely useless for soldering or rework. Really low working distance with all that stuff in the way.

Good point, I could see myself knocking into the mirrors. I found a different one that looks like it has better working distance: https://youtube.com/shorts/3hU78sDmbGQ?feature=share

Looks like there’s maybe at least 4cm of clearance? I’d like to see Dave take one of these for a spin.
