So this teardown and firmware dump for one of these USB3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) 1080p 60fps HDMI capture cards from aliexpress, also amazon eBay and whole bunch of other online places.

These capture cards come in black, two shades of blue, and perhaps in other colors. Also, in same aluminum body there could be different implementations on different chips and with different capabilities. This particular teardown is on card based on MS2131 chip.

WARNING: You can easily buy a capture card on a different chip and have a bad experience with these. Review different available chips above and only buy in places where people did a teardown, such as the ali link above.  :-+

The board is modified with heatsink over the chip. From factory it comes without heatsink. These cards have two firmwares, with one firmware only 50 fps 1080p is possible, while with other 60 fps 1080p is possible. Also, on one firmware during startup there are color test bars, while with the other firmware only blank screen during startup.

Operation is straight forward, you plug in the HDMI and plug in the USB 3.0 and everything works out of the box. HDMI bypass is condensed or compressed and looks ugly, so I don't recommend using that feature unless you absolutely have to.

USB version is 3.2 Gen 1.

I've been using it with my microscope camera for recording in OBS for 7 months and had no problems, other than some screen flicker with some green lines when hot, but that got solved with a heatsink.
