I have been looking for a tool for de-soldering SMD components for a long time, but most of the ones I found are either large or just an additional handle to the soldering stations, which leads to the high price of such a set of thermal tweezers.

Sequre HT140 thermal tweezers already on sale since October 19, already sold in the Sequre manufacturer's store, will soon appear in other stores as well https://sequremall.com/collections/tweezers/products/sequre-ht140-2in1-hot-tweezers-soldering-iron-desoldering-repair-tool-for-smd?variant=44204748275900

For soldering and desoldering small to medium sized SMDs
Power - up to 140W.
Supply voltage - up to 28V DC and PD3.1 (up to 20V PD3.0), there is a setting for limiting the maximum current (1.5A; 2A; 2.5A; 3A; 5A and unlimited).
Two power connectors USB-C and 5.5x2.5 mm.
Tips of the C120 series, you can also use some tips of the C210 series, for example C210-IS (C210-002, 004, 010, 014) and several other models.

The menu is like in Sequre soldering irons, including thermal profiles, there is an individual calibration for the left and right sides. Heating of the tip of one of the sides can be turned off if you suddenly need to use it as a soldering iron.
The handle itself without adjustment of the tip holders, such a design is more reliable and stable. The tips of the tips converge quite accurately without additional adjustment, it is also possible to slightly adjust the position of the tips themselves with 4 screws.
I tested it a little and the first impression: it's amazing!

Looks like good competition, probably better than anything sub ~$250 for the set, for occasional use.

C210 tips are dirt cheap. Though obviously the tweezer specific tips might be a bit more than the $5-8 standard carts.

Yihua tweezers were using them as well, but they priced themselves way too high given the quality: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006651620709.html

I hope it doesn't cost too much since I was otherwise just going to design a 3D printed clip for putting two of their S60s together in tweezer / chopstick format. :-//

This looks like a great product even if their first iteration isn't perfect (like the S60). Hope they make a USB-C vacuum powered desoldering tool next!

..I have yet to get cartridges for my Metcal tweezers which will work on smd electrolytic caps.

And have just watched mend-it-mark [giga juke part 2] disparage his own - perfectly good setup?

Dave has a review now:

Looks good though the stock cartridges are on the smaller side. Don't see the wider tips from them yet?

Sequre plans to sell a wider variety of soldering tips in the future, but it should be understood that Sequre does not manufacture soldering tips and resells or equips soldering irons, including tweezers, with not original JBC, but alternative, normally functioning soldering tips - you can buy 3 mm (C120-003) and 5 mm (C120-005) blade cartridges in the Sequre store for affordable price right now.
HT140 fits JBC 120 and some C210 series soldering tips. For example, two C210-002 (C210-IS) can be used always just now as they are identical to C120, or C210-018 (C210-K) soldering tips can be used to de-solder larger components instead of special C120 in most cases. The original two JBC C120 soldering tips C120-008 and C120-007 will cost almost the same as this set of tweezers.
