Accessing photos on Tagarno Magnus HD
« on: August 16, 2021, 06:18:04 pm »
Hey everyone,
first off sorry if this is the wrong subforum for this kind of stuff, I'm pretty new.

I recently got my hands on a Tagarno Magnus HD microscope which works beautifully. However, I can't for the love of me manage to access its internal storage or make it send pictures to my PC. The online manual I found suggests accessing it via smb (Mac/probably also Linux) or as network drive (Windows), however both methods do not work and the manual is probably for a newer version of the microscope anyways. I managed to identify it as DVI camera on a Linux system but still can't access it storage or communicate with it. Has anyone here ever tried to get one of those things to work? Does it require specific software?

The microscope is running on firmware version 2.1.
I also attached pictures of the connectors, its control panel and its label.

Thanks in advance for any help!
