Hi everyone,
I just received one of these Iron Solder Pencils, one of tens you can buy online, just wanted to check how it works. I did not find much info about it, and did not have much time to test it, but I wanted to share some pictures in case someone is interested.
It uses C120 tips, but I do not check if JCB tips work here, the one which come included are from MAGMA.
The devices from construction perspective is really, really simple, and looks a bit flimsy.
I will do some test during this week:
- Temperature
- Power
- Tip to ground resistance (Here I have always the doubt if needs to be measure with the device powered or not)
For the moment and due to lack of time I leave here the pictures

Adding 3 extra pictures due to size limitation. Good quality (I hope :) )

Nice photos, it does look incredibly simple.
C210 tips, it will definitely work with JBC originals, but at this price point its hard to justify spending more on an original tip than the iron itself.
Power with voltage will be the interesting one. Some drive the C210 at over 60W.
The Ksger C210 was solidly made aluminum, but they don't sell that model anymore. The newer one looks cheap in comparison: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005519807256.html (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005519807256.html)
