Does anyone has experience with this one. I like the compact format and quick measure mode, but it is a bit dissapointing it is only 0.01% and probably better. They are real cheap for sale at IET labs.
http://www.ietlabs.com/capacitance/capacitance-meter-bridge/genrad-1620-capaitance-bridge.htmlTo bad resolution is only 10E-5 pF. But until I can affort a Unit-T or other Chinese topbrand I must do it with this.
Oops, LCR, so I need this for L an R

Also nice and portable, the bummer is it only has 200pH resolution, Nah, can't have it all
You want a tear down ? No problem. A GR1608, small compact LCRG meter:

Had to change all germanium, wrote a letter to General Radio that it is really a bad thing the germanium transistors only lasted 50 years but I never get an answer so company support is not what it used to be. But, thank God, we have Henry Hall, and he still gives good support so all got well in the end. (Hall is the man who made allmost all GR bridges and now in his 80's)
Ok one for the road, but this is realy big, not for portable use:

Hmm, I think I have a language problem, always mix up large and small, good and bad, but the doctor said it is either denile or a virus
