Comparing 4 Different Digital Microscopes
« on: January 04, 2018, 07:57:45 pm »
https://youtu.be/dgQWt7Z3eko

In the video I compare the following 4 microscopes with built in displays:

Generic 4.3" Microscope that records 720P and takes 3MP photos

Generic 2.5" Microscope that records 720P and takes 3MP photos

Andonstar ADSM201 Microscope that records 1080P and takes 12MP photos

Andonstar ADSM302 Microscope that records 720P and takes 12MP photos

I have seen the ADSM201 discussed on this forum and by Dave.  The ADSM302 is the recently released newer model of the ADSM201.  They seemed to improve on some of the gripes people had with the older model.

The camera sensor is larger and the working distance has been increased by quite a bit because of the elongated tube for the lens to move.

The screen is larger and higher quality with the ability to adjust the angle.

The base is much larger and heavy than the previous model.  It is also black compared to the reflective silver of the older model.  The silver made it hard to look at single components without glare.

Nice review, and some great (very sharp and focused) images. I cannot get comparable quality with the cheapo $16 microscope, but... that's to be expected after all. :)

Here some difference in Ando a star microscop :palm: ADSM201/301/302

To the poster of the video, please look up the words: "lapel (lavalier) microphone". It will greatly improve your audio. Nothing like recording audio in a large sewer pipe. AKA: Are you on speakerphone? "Oh no.." Says the person on the other end in the marble room.

As far as the 302, show me movement whilst it is in the zoom mode. I'd like to see if it is truly non-delayed as in the x1 mode. Also, does the software identify in Chinese in the hardware manager as shown, or instead in English?

Voltage does not flow, nor does voltage go.
